Yen Tu mountain 2 days


Yen Tu Pagoda located in the mountainous region ( With the height: 1060m above the sea level) of Yen Tu in Uong Bi District, Quang Ninh Province is famous all over the world for its beautiful landscapes, historical relics and many of ancient pagodas and towers, earning its name as the Buddhism capital of Vietnam.
Following the 700 years old of historical, Yen Tu was a place which borne the legendary stories of Vietnamese King Tran Nhan Tong (1258-1308) leaving the court to follow a religious life in Yen Tu in the thirteen century. The Yen Tu Pagoda festival is occurs every spring from the tenth day of the first month to the third month of Lunar New Year.
In order to contemplate the beauty of all the pagodas and temples here, you can visit The Giai Oan Stream (Vindication Stream), then go to Tung and Truc streets to the Tomb Tower and Hoa Yen Pagoda, and from there to Mot Mai, Bao Sai pagodas, visiting An Ky Sinh statue and Dong (Bronze) Pagoda on Yen Tu mountain peak.
As the journey comes to an end, tourists climb down and enjoy the vegetable dishes in the Vegetable Restaurant. And in Truc Lam Zen Monastery you can hear the supreme monk lecturing about the history and the dogma of Buddhism.


Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Alova Gold Cruise (Meals: L/D):

 
8:00 Alova Gold Cruise’s bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel & start the 3 hour and a half drive to Halong Bay.
12h00 – 12h30: Board Alova Gold Cruise at the Bai Chay port, enjoy welcome drink, crew briefing before checking in cabin. Start cruising and enjoy a Special lunch with Vietnamese Traditional Dishes while the boat slowly slides on romantic waves of the sea to the legendary fishing village
14h00: Spend one hour Kayaking or Bamboo boat on emerald water of the world heritage.
15h00: Set sails to head to the sandy beach where emotional feeling erupts at one of the most splendid water world; you can swim and enjoy the seascapes with photos shooting.
18h00: Return to the vessel for your own leisure at room or on Sun deck, boat anchors at Sung Sot area – the safest place for overnight.
18h30: Attend the Cooking Demonstration together with our Chief.
19h30: Enjoy dinner (designed only on Alova Gold) with Vietnamese typical foods.
21h00: Intermingle with activities on board such as Cuttle fish fishing, games on board, socializing with others. Our bartender serves you the best drink at bar, overnight on boat.

Day 2 Ha Long Bay –  Yen Tu Pagoda - Ha Noi (Meals: B/L):
 
When the Dawn appears, a new day comes to bring you strange experience!
6h00:  Wake up for swimming or photos hunt at dawn
7h30: Have sunrise breakfast in the absolutely quiet lagoon.
8h30: Climb up the mountain to explore one of the most superb & beautiful Sung Sot cave.
9h15:  Return to the Vessel, check out and settle the bill, take time to relax while the Vessel is cruising back to Bai Chay Port, leave your words in the Memory Book and have lunch.
12h30: Say goodbye to Halong bay then go to Yen Tu Pagoda Complex. Visit the biggest Buddhism Central of Vietnam. Take the cable car up to Hoa Yen Pagoda ( The most beautiful part of Yen Tu Pagoda Complex). Enjoin the scenery and take the photos.
16:30 Get back to our car and then go back to Hanoi.  
18h30: Arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.
