A full day Red River Delta Cycling Tour

We meander along on our bicycles throughout the Red River Delta and enter intothe countryside of Hanoi. Vietnam Back Roads will introduce you to the locals as we cycle pass rice-paddy fields along the river and we will visit the traditional Dong Ho painting village. This area stretches 15,000 square kilometers. This area is more intensely developed and populated than its neighbor, Mekong River Delta. This is the ancestral home of the Vietnamese and the delta accounts for almost 70 % of the agriculture and 80 % of the industry of North Vietnam before 1975.
7:30 : Meet up with tour guide at your hotel. A short briefing about the bikes such as how to change the speed drivetrain, etc
8:00 : Cycle along the Red River dyke, taking the Long Bien Bridge, formerly known as the Paul Doumer Bridge – was one of the greatest engineering accomplishments of the French colony and a showpiece of colonial infrastructure. 
10:00 : Arrive in Bat Trang village which is famous for ceramic and pottery products of high quality and create your own ceramic masterpiece here. 
11:00 : Continue to cycle to Dong Ho Painting Village which is famous with paintings has become an aesthetic symbol in Vietnam Culture. 
12:30 : Have lunch at a local restaurant.
13:30 : Have a short walk to visit Dong Ho Painting village, explore the unique Vietnamese arts of wood carving and sculpture here.
14:30 : Cycle to But Thap Pagoda, one of Vietnam's finest pagodas and historically important Buddhist centers which is the pride of Bac Ninh Province in particular and Vietnam in general.
16:00 : Back to your hotel in Hanoi
17:30 : Arrive at your hotel. End of services.
